PCI Job Fair

PCI is a non-profit community center that is a funded partner of A Better LA.  PCI’s mission is to help young people recognize their potential and to help them express themselves in a positive way.  They work daily to provide Socioeconomic Resources and solutions to disenfranchised communities.

People for Community Improvement (PCI), a funded partner of A Better LA, held its Quarterly Job Fair on June 6, 2013.  The PCI Job Fair invites a wide range of employers/agencies like Costco, Sam’s Club, Credit & Contractors Unions, Local Food Markets, Military & College recruiters to set up and assist people in the community with their job search.  Flyers for the job fair are circulated at the Urban League, Work Source, local & churches schools, community stores, and at their weekly Task Force Meetings in order to raise awareness within the community for those seeking employment.  Approximately 100-200 job seekers take advantage and attend the fair.  Keep an eye out for the next Job Fair scheduled for September of 2013.
