No Guns Allowed
ABLA friend and supporter, Snoop Lion, speaks out about Gun Violence with his “No Guns Allowed” campaign. He is using this movement and his song by the same name as he says, as a “call to action for people everywhere to come together and help end the senseless gun violence that claims lives every day.”
Along with MTV and Jewelry For a Cause, Snoop has created a one-of-a-kind bracelet in order to raise money and awareness for gun violence. The bracelets are engraved with the serial number of an illegal firearm recently turned in through the Newark, NJ gun buyback program.
Snoop will be joining Congresswoman Maxine Waters and others to further discuss the subject at BET’s No Guns Allowed: Disarming Violence in Our Community roundtable discussion on June 29. Snoop encourages you to use the #NoGunsAllowed hashtag on social media to share their stories about gun violence.
