A Better LA is launching a year long campaign to end gang violence to Keep Kids Safe. The campaign will consist of numerous community events to raise awareness and funds to save lives and restore hope to the children of Los Angeles.

Imagine a world where you couldn’t be sure your brother, sister, or child, would come home from school. Imagine that you could not bring them to the park to play for fear of being the target of gang activity. Imagine a world without hope.
This is the world our Los Angeles youth face every day.
Through the efforts of A Better LA and our partners, we have helped change this world for the children of Los Angeles. Ours is a unique approach- training once-active gang members to be community outreach workers. And it has yielded unprecedented results. These men and women have become heroes in their communities through their ability to reach out to those who otherwise are distrustful of organizations like ours. Through their work, parks are becoming safer, children make it to and from school, and Los Angeles youth are gaining a sense of hope and dreams for the future.
This past year A Better LA saved 23 lives in our four target areas. That’s 46 parents who did not experience the pain of the loss of a child. And countless other relatives and friends were also spared this tragedy.
Become a part of our team. Every dollar you give lends credibility to our workers in a world where credibility and reputation means everything. Join the community and A Better LA and save innocent lives in South Los Angeles.
