On Saturday April 3, 2010 A Better LA hosted Easter Events In the Park. The event at Queen Anne’s Park was a huge success and thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the festivities. There were volunteers from Unity One, A Better LA, Leap Frog and A Foundation for Kids who ran the easter egg hunt, bounce houses and games. It was a peaceful day for the community of Mid City and A Better LA would like to thank everyone for everything they did to help make the day so much fun!
A Better LA and A Foundation for Kids also supported events at Athens Park for Kalikoat’s Kidz and in Helen Keller Park for C.U.R.E.
We were able to serve over 2,000 on Easter. Special thanks to our sponsors A Foundation for Kids and Leap Frog for all of their help with the events. A Better LA would also like to thank Harvey from Celebrity Fit Club for coming and volunteering. Thank you all for coming out and making the day such a huge success and a lot of fun for the community!
