The Los Angeles Rotary Club District 5280 has been a huge supporter of A Better LA and the West Athens Project over the past year. They have orchestrated over $75,000 in donations for programs in West Athens. Most recently Rotary 5280 has donated a 10 passenger van that will be used mainly by A Better LA funded partner CURE to pick youth up from school to take them to after school programs at A Better LA’s Gardena community office. They will also use the van for field trips, rides to and from school and rides home after dark – which will ensure that the kids we work with have dependable transportation andĀ feel safe participating in our programs. Thank you to Rotary 5280 for all of their donations and continued support!
