Pete Carroll

Pete Carroll is the current head football coach at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In his time at USC the Trojans have made it to national championship games in 2003, 2004 and 2005 (winning the National Championship in 2004 and splitting the National Championship in 2003) and have won seven consecutive Pac-10 conference championships. Carroll's winning percentage (.853) is the highest among all active college football coaches.

Hired in the spring of 2001, Coach Carroll has since formed a strong bond with his surrounding community. By forming A Better LA, Carroll has a created an organization that utilizes his relationships with people across all sectors of the community to focus on a common goal. Carroll's goal from the beginning has been to empower people and communities from within to facilitate change, foster growth and create a sustaining lifestyle of non-violence.
